Project is divided in to two parts: a picture book about silence and a spatial installation
about it. The aim of this topic is to make children aware of silence - often presented in contrast
to sound. Project creates an excuse to talk about other phenomena, abstractions, emotions,
and sensitizes the child to the world.

A picture book is an attempt to illustrate an abstract phenomenon not usually associated
with a picture. The illustrations in the book allow different interpretations of both the child
and the adult. The content of the book was created on the basis of conversations and interviews with preschool children. Through texts written with the participation of children, I gave them the opportunity to express themselves and I got to know their ideas about the abstract concept
of silence. Their surprising answers became a direct inspiration for the creation of the book.
The narrative in the book is based on questions and answers, which naturally becomes
a start for conversation.

The recipient of the project can be children and adults of all ages. Its universal form allows
you to find many values by different age groups. I have noticed that the reception of my book
evokes positive emotions among the readers.

The installation presents abstract, amorphous forms referring to the shapes of silence used
in the book. Contains content on topics related to experiencing it. Using the form of questions
and answers, it raises the content related to nature, cosmos, and human needs.
They often surprise, stimulate the child's imagination and curiosity.
